Deep down, there was a little part of me that was hoping there would be another snowstorm so I could write this post. (Mind you, a very, very small part.) After the 4th major snowstorm of 8 or more inches this winter, I had all I could stand, so we booked a little vacation to the beaches of Sunny Mexico. Sadly, a loyal, trusted, and beloved member of my family didn't make it back from our trip to Aruba. My moccasins were last seen during a para-sailing expidition on Thursday, February 9th 2006, and are believed to be lost at sea. Although my dear friends will be missed, an intense search is now underway for replacement leisure footwear.
The Chuck returned from Europe on Sunday, and brought with him a very special gift for moi - a French language version of a "24" graphic novel (not a "comic book"). How cool is that?!
