July 22nd through 25th was "Buchs Weekend" - my birthday was on the 23rd, and the entire weekend was my bachelor party. Here's a quick recap: Thanks, Chuck Chuck handled all the details, and was generally in charge for the weekend. Everything went great. Good job, buddy. The Buchs Open Friday morning, we all met at Petrifying Springs golf course in Kenosha. We sent out 3-threesomes - the first group was myself, my dad, and Judy's dad. I think we were the only ones who weren't drinking on the course. I shot pretty poorly, and my team finished in last place (Thanks, Chuck). Where's my wallet? Tonight, the 12th Mr. Risk tournament will take place. I was a little disappointed at the "trash talking" this week, but there were a few good shots from the defending Mr. Risk: Hey guys. Mr. Risk XI was played this weekend. At this point, it's become a farce - Chuck and Les just trade the tropy off between the two of them every couple of times. Once and a while, just to keep the rest of us interested, they'll let someone else win. I thought I had a chance at a win after my first two turns - I drew Wild Cards each time. Recalling the last two games, I resolved to save the cards for the end of the game - when the turn-ins get up to 30 or 40 armies. That strategy cost me in the end...
