The World According To Buchs

The whole long-form-blog-post thing just didn’t work for me anymore. I played with Twitter for a while, but that was a little restrictive. Facebook was fun, but not easy to share with the outside world.

Enter tumblr — and here’s hoping that I can keep up with it.

The iPhone app is great, and the tumblr bookmarklet/chrome extension is a very handy way for me to quickly post text, links, photos, etc. Plus I can automatically import things I send directly to Twitter or Flickr, as well as forward new posts back to Twitter and Facebook.

To make things look more “official”, I’ve pointed my own domain to their servers, which temporarily screwed up my entire hosting setup. But I think I’ve got everything in order now.
