I know it's late notice, but there's a film on PBS tonight (7:00 pm in Milwaukee, Channel 10) about amateur astronomy titled "Seeing In The Dark". A subject I'm relatively interested in, I was also involved in the development of the website as part of my new position at Kapow. Anyone who's seen me over the last 3 months may have noticed an abnormal growth of hair attached to my facial area. It started when I spent two weeks working from home in early July. Extreme Wilderness Challenge 2008 was last weekend. As you may have noticed, I am back. Good news - no one was lost this year. Some of the highlights (for those two readers who weren't actually there): I forgot to pack a tent. We were graced with two extra campers we weren't anticipating Near rumble at the Dirty Turtle I slept through it, but there was a 3am jump in the lake.
