A little more than 3 years ago, I purchased my first digital camera - the Fujifilm s5000. A wonderful camera, styled like a digital-SLR model, it’s packed full of features and options. It’s also extendable - I have a couple of filters that I can attach when necessary.
The problem is, I never use it. It’s not hefty, but it does need to be in a bag. Add in the attachments, and it’s not the kind of thing you just whip out and take a shot with. Also, Judy has no idea whatsoever how to use it.
I had been planning on getting a new camera sometime this summer, but last week I received some 12% off coupons in the mail. So, this last Saturday we went to the store, armed with a list of compact camera that got good reviews. We ended up walking out of there with a brand new Sony CyberShot t100. Just a few reasons I love it:
We had a family event on Sunday, so we brought it along for the day. I initially had it left on the factory settings, but ended up tweaking them just a bit - not so much that Judy couldn’t use it.
I anticipate taking and posting more photos soon.
