(OK, maybe that's a little harsh. "Darn you, Sol Fire!" is probably more accurate.) Judy & I were all set for Sammich Nite yesterday. She was going to be home from work earlier than usual, which would give us plenty of time to enjoy $3.00 sammiches, the Monday night special. If you've never enjoyed the Sol Fire Sammich Special, here's the menu:
I think this might be of interest to you. You're welcome. ESPN posted the NBA TradeMachine this morning. It's way cool.
The sudden exposure to cold temperatures, combined with a lack of fruity cocktails, has started to wear my mind down a bit. So, I thought it would be a good idea to recap our vacation before it was erased from memory. I'm sure Judy will chime in if I miss any of the details - she likes to do that.
Every now and then, I like to check in on the Mark Cuban weblog to see what he's up to. Whatever your opinion about the guy, he is an interesting character -- and he is worth about a gazillion dollars. Anyways, his latest post is titled "I Own Phil Jackson". Here's a clip: Not literally of course. That thrill belongs to the smartest businesswoman in professional sports, Jeannie Buss. Figuratively however, the coach formerly known as the Zen Master must now be considered my bucket boy.
Sadly, a loyal, trusted, and beloved member of my family didn't make it back from our trip to Aruba. My moccasins were last seen during a para-sailing expidition on Thursday, February 9th 2006, and are believed to be lost at sea. Although my dear friends will be missed, an intense search is now underway for replacement leisure footwear.
Judy & I just returned from our week+ honeymoon in Aruba, with a quick stay in Miami. We've been travelling for the better part of 2 days, so I'm pretty much exhausted right now. But, I thought I'd post a few pictures now, then write about the trip in the next day or so.
I think I may be spending a little bit of time at this place over the next week.
