My trusty iPod has finally bit the dust. Purchased in early 2003, this first-generation iPod with a whopping 5GB of storage was used almost daily for the first 2 years of its existence. Over the last 8 months or so, the battery life had slipped down to about a 2-hour range. Over the last month, that plumetted to 20 minutes of life.
