Early this morning, I drove over to the airport to pick up Judy, who was just arriving back from Hawaii. After placing her suitcase in the back of the trunk, I pulled my arm out, scratching my hand against something on the underside of the trunk - either a bolt or screw. As it turned out, it was a bit more than a scratch.

I’m meeting some friends at the beach later tonight for some volleyball, Bry. Wanna play?

Good thing you got your drinking in *last* weekend… How will affect the golf game?

Ouch! That’s too bad man. How painful is it to type with your hand like that?
How much of an impact does it make on doing usual activities?

Unfortunately, this puts the kaibosh on my golf game for the next 10 days or so.
The tetanus shot was more painful than the actual injury. At first, I really thought it was a scratch… until I looked closer.

Bry, my condolensces. I’ve heard of self-loving leading to hairy palms, blindness and eternal hellfire, but not to actual open wounds.

Ow! I did that once in February while shoveling snow. Yep, took the glove off to wipe my nose and BAM…frozen booger cut me wide open.
