Who’s got the conch?

Lost!!!If anybody is interested, there’s a new episode of “Lost” on ABC tonight at 7:00 — the first one since Hurley won the lottery about 4 weeks ago.

Friday night is the season finale of “Battlestar Galactica” on the Sci-Fi channel. It’s the second half of a 2-parter.

Those 2 shows, along with “24“, have been duking it out for my favourite show this year. I’d have to lean towards Lost - when it’s on, I don’t want to take my eyes off the screen. 24 has got the Bauer factor; it’s a very enjoyable show. Galactica has been fantastic, too - the best writing of the three.

If you need to catch up, I’m pretty sure you’ll have to wait for the DVDs of Lost and 24. Galactica will most likely be run again over the summer, so set your DVRs now.

  1. Can’t say enough about the Battlestar. Fantastic addition to the television viewing. Brings out the geek in me. I agree with your assessment of the writing, too. Pretty complex for a sci-fi adventure series.

  2. Plus, Dr. Baltar plays a mean bass.

  3. Lost - WOW!!! Great episode. The two “Locke” episodes have been the best 2 of the year.

2 comments: based on what I’m reading around the web, the voice over the radio replied to Boone “There were no survivors of Oceanic 815″. Whoa.

Also, the backstories of each of the characters have been intertwined in some way. For instance, Sawyer meets Jack’s dad in a bar. I just read a theory that the kid in the WalMart who Locke was showing the Mouse Trap game was a younger Boone…

After last night, Lost takes the crown for the year. Near perfect TV.
