The Big Move is nearly complete. We hired movers to take care of our furniture yesterday. Last weekend, we took a trip to Ikea to get some furnishings (and tea lights!), then spent the rest of the weekend moving various boxes and things.
Although there’s still a fair shake of work to be done, the end is in sight. Hopefully, we’ll be painting this weekend. In the next few days, I’m hoping to unpack the mountains of boxes we have laying around, and also to grab a few more loads from my apartment.
Most importantly, the cable guy is coming on Sunday afternoon to install service for us.
Unfortunately, I was informed yesterday that, although our phone service would be set up as of Friday, my DSL line won’t be active for at least another week. But, the guy I talked to let me know that their pricing plans have changed, and for less money than I’m paying now, I’ll be getting between 3 and 6 MBps.
