Friday night, Judy & I did a little shopping over at Sears. We’ve known for months that we needed/wanted a new grill for the balcony of the condo. We finally settled on the Weber Genesis Silver B. It’s a 3-burner LP grill. I would have liked to upgrade to the stainless steel model, but this one is great.
The spot on the balcony we want to place it in is about 54″ wide. The width of the grill is a bit more than that. Luckily, it looks like we’ll be able to leave the left-hand tray off the frame, and it will fit like a charm.
The bad news is that we bought it un unassembled. I had planned on sitting down and doing it one night this week, but after talking to Andy (who has professional experience as a grill assembly technician), it looks like I need to dedicate a weekend afternoon to this. Small setback, but a price I’m willing to pay.
And, as you may have read in my last post, the new Pick & Save has a *fantastic* meats section. I’m greatly looking forward to the first meal off the grill.
