For years, I’ve contended that the cell phone is the worst thing to ever happen to the human race. Seriously. I hate the damn things. One of my favourite quotes from myself has always been: “you can put a cell phone in my cold, dead hand.”
Well, today I must be dead. I finally broke down and got me a phone. I’m really torn over this. The gadget-geek part of me is enjoying himself - it’s a new toy! But for the most part, I feel like I’ve turned on myself by joining the masses. I hope I get over it.
