I have recently refined my position on the pending release of the iPhone 3G.
In short: I want one.
What changed my mind? Maybe all the hype broke me down, I don’t know. One thing that really appeals to me is MobileMe - being able to keep things synchronized between my work PC, my laptop, and an iPhone. GPS will be nice. And frankly, having just gotten a new iPod for Judy, listening to a podcast on the walk to work would be nice.
I’ve been doing my homework getting ready for the launch this week. My plan is to wake up early on Friday and get myself over to the Apple store. I’m shooting for 6:30 or so - hopefully that will be early enough.
