This is The World According to Buchs - Keepin’ it moving since 2003!

Extreme Wilderness Challenge 2008 was last weekend. As you may have noticed, I am back. Good news - no one was lost this year.

Some of the highlights (for those two readers who weren’t actually there):

1. I forgot to pack a tent.
2. We were graced with two extra campers we weren’t anticipating
3. Near rumble at the Dirty Turtle
4. I slept through it, but there was a 3am jump in the lake.
5. The Real Lazy River - tubing down the Wisconsin River with several cases of beer on a four hour trip.
6. Having the balls in Deal or No Deal to tell the banker to skip the rigmarole and just give me what’s in the damn case. It didn’t work out for me, but still fun.
7. Inventing the McPudgie Breakfast Bagel Sandwich
8. Getting bit by a snake. Not as exciting as it sounds.

I’m sure I left out hundreds of things, but in my defense, I was drunk or sleeping most of the weekend.
