I just did a search on Google for “upgrading PHP 5″ (with a space before the 5). Google thought I might have been looking for “php5″ (no space), and gave me a link to try that search instead. When I did, I got this:
If you don’t want to click the big image, it reads:
We're sorry...
… but we can’t process your request right now. A computer virus or spyware application is sending us automated requests, and it appears that your computer or network has been infected.
We’ll restore your access as quickly as possible, so try again soon. In the meantime, you might want to run a virus checker or spyware remover to make sure that your computer is free of viruses and other spurious software.
We apologize for the inconvenience, and hope we’ll see you again on Google.
The funny thing is, any other search I try works just fine. Also, I have an antivirus and spyware sweep run *nightly* on my PC, which is behind a hardware firewall *and* running a software firewall. The only thing I can come up with is that I’ve been running a lot of searches this afternoon while doing some research.
Oh, and by the way… this is entry #250 on The World According To Buchs.
