This is The World According to Buchs - Keepin’ it moving since 2003!

Brian Wilson, as everyone knows (right?), was the driving force behind the Beach Boys. And, as most everyone knows, had some, uh… tough times for the a bit (30 years). But, he’s doing muchbetter now. I got a chance to see him in concert about 3 years ago - he opened for Paul Simon at Summerfest in 2001. That was his first tour since the early 70’s.

This article over at Yahoo! talks about the cicumstances leading up to it, but the big news is that Wilson has recently finished, and released an album that was supposed to be the Beach Boys followup to Pet Sounds - SMiLE. That was right about the time that he had a nervous breakdown… There were 2 songs slated for Smile that actually got recorded and released - “Good Vibrations” and “Heroes and Villains“; the rest was sitting on a shelf somewhere.
