This is The World According to Buchs - Keepin’ it moving since 2003!

I was just checking into the web site of the Polyphonic Spree (serious flash-action), hoping to find that they’ve added some tour dates to replace the cancelled Lollapalooza tour. No such luck on that front, but I did find 2 other things:

1 - Chuck mentioned this a few weeks ago, but there’s a new album on the way - “Together We’re Heavy”. On sale July 12. Hopefully, it’s half as good as the first (and not so much like the single they released on iTunes
a few weeks ago). If you still haven’t heard the first album, “The Beginning Stages Of..“, go get it - you’ll be happy you did. (Update: I’ve heard the new album, and it’s great. I’m not sure if it’s better than the first yet - too new to make that decision.)

2 - They’ve also put together a really cool ineractive game - The Quest for the Rest (also flash-based). I’ve only spent a few minutes on it, but it’s sort of in the vein of something like Myst, in that you’re clicking around on the screen, looking for clues, or objects that trigger an action. Hit them in the right sequence, and watch what happens. Plus, the whole thing is accompanied by songs from the new album. It’s pretty well done. Go check it out.
